Tread Softly: Why My Kids Wear Barefoot Shoes

Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths, Enwrought with golden and silver light, The blue and the dim and the dark cloths Of night and light and the half-light, I would spread the cloths under your feet: But I, being poor, have only my dreams; I have spread my dreams under your feet; Tread softly because you tread on my dreams. William Butler Yeats The Cloths of Heaven In our house we tread softly because we are barefoot. When we leave the house we wear minimal shoes. We do this because it is better for our feet and our bodies. It is really important for children’s growing feet to wear a shoe that facilitates their foot development. They need space for all of their joints, ligaments and bones
